We had a wonderful family stay at Dobbins Inn, and we absolutely loved it! The place has such a warm and charming atmosphere, perfect for couples and families alike. The staff were kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, ideal for relaxing after exploring the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant is simply outstanding — the seafood is fresh and full of flavor. I had the corn and clam chowder, and my husband enjoyed the seafood platter — both were divine, among the best we’ve ever had! A truly lovely stay — cozy, romantic, and family-friendly. We can’t wait to come back!
Had a lovely stay at the inn with my family..loved their breakfast..my son enjoyed his pancakes so much and I enjoyed the turkey sausages. The lady at the front desk/ breakfast was lovely and friendly.
Rooms are small, but very comfortable and they had everything we needed. We stayed two nights. There is a free hour of street parking, and free from 5pm to 8am, so we parked on the street after 4pm and left before 9am. The location is wonderful. From the front door you can see Carrickfergus Castle - a block away. Food and service were very good. It's old world charm was especially felt in the cozy lobby and the nautical themed restaurant.
Didn't originally plan to come but was such a nice place to stay; the staff were super friendly, the drinks were well priced, the room was cosy, clean and warm. The castle is across the road and the church is beautiful.

I loved this Inn. It's cute and our room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and it was close to the castle which is where we parked for the night for free.
Just returned home to the UK from a 2 day stay in the Inn and what can I say? Dobbins Inn was fantastic. Very quaint, historic and with a really warm atmosphere. Kirsty was accommodating and so friendly. Was also really great value for money. We would highly recommend to anyone to pay them a visit if your ever in Carrickfergus and we're very much hoping to stay again if we're in Ireland. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so lovely
Friendly staff, quirky but roomy bedroom and one of the best breakfast menus I've ever seen. Centrally located but no parking of its own, but wasn't an issue for me and appeared parking was pretty easy. Definitely worth a visit and I will be back
